SCOTTSDALE, AZ – For the 16th consecutive year, Major League Baseball relied upon Select Artists Associates (SAA) as technical producer for the on-field musical entertainment during the 89th annual All-Star Game Festivities in Washington D.C.
On Sunday, July 15th, AMA, ACM, CMA, CMT and Billboard Music Award winner, Florida Georgia Line, performed hit songs “Cruise” & “Simple” on SAA’s patented, field-friendly roll-on stage between the SiriusXM Futures Game and Legends & Celebrity Softball Game at Nationals Park.
During the Celebrity Softball Game, none other than 4-time NBA champion & MVP, Shaquille O’Neal, a.k.a. DJ Diesel performed throughout the celebrity event. On Monday, during the T-Mobile Home Run Derby, DJ Irie took over the DJ duties from the SAA-constructed “Sky Island” stage atop Nationals Park center field vantage point before a capacity crowd of 43,698 and the live television audiences on ESPN & MLB Network respectively.
On-field performances were positioned on the ballpark infield and shallow center field utilizing SAA’s field-friendly roll-on & “round mound stage” with concert-quality audio system.
